Mid Autumn Festival (MAF) was yesterday, but i couldnt use the comp.. so have to blog now.. think might have lost the excitement n atmosphere liao.. but still it's a fond memory. and will continue to be.
fast-forward to MAF starting time. Reached school earlier to prepare for MAF CO performance. Ermm.. the performance was a formality, coz MAF is a CHINESE festival n we r the CHINESE orchestra, so thus we have to perform. anyway, hanged around wif my CO for awhile. My uber cool senior brought us chocolate mooncake, which i took one, n very grateful n happy :D also, went to my cat high mates whom crashed MAF for some unknown reason b4 my performance, after that lost sight of them..
one down thing was that the new digicam which i brought along, ran out of batt, which was so sian diao.. only took 4 measly pictures all in all. i left the spare batt @ home. sigh... but still gt my other frens wif their digicams, so all is not lost :)
anyway, there's my GP teacher, now known as June zei zei (Hokkien for elder sister), coz thanks to my Econs tr for calling her that, to try n get my Econ tr's baby to respond to my GP tr, so call her that. so adapt it lar.. quite a "cute" name anyway. muhahaha
my class attendance was "very excellent". 50% turned up for MAF, out of the 50%, 25% was for duty, 25% came by themselves (PRCs u see), then 10% left early, the remaining 40% was there n hanging about. arh well... as my CT put it : " u all (referring to the 40% out of 50%) r quite close." it's true that we a few r quite okay n gd :) but it also implies that the remaining 80% of the class is sadly ungelled. arh well.. there was even more seniors than us present at MAF. it's very sad, anyway, went for supper wif some of the seniors, n were reminded of the S31 traditions. Firstly, there was the drawing imaginary circles things, ermm.. it's quite hard to explain, but a strong running tradition in the class. Secondly, there's the pressure of being the top academic class. According to the 00',01' seniors, it has always been the case since ever since. *gasp* anyway, might have a S31 chalet, inviting all our ansectors back. shall see how.
hrmm.. anyway, after my performing duties was completed. i went to hang out wif my classmates. took some pics, one of the water fountain, which was quite cool, then played wif some sparkers n all. quite fun, pity only a few sparkers. but still have the atmosphere. i missed the light-up, but i believed must have been great, coz after that, everybody was starting to get into the mood.
they was singing, dancing, cheering going on. sang like all the songs, dance all the dances twice. was quite fun. danced wif a few different frens of mine. was v.nice to dance wif them, coz after all i always like dancing, though i suck at it, n secondly, can also build up frenship n all, quite a nice experience. :) the atmosphere was overall, quite gd n exciting. especially so as it was at night, with all the dancing n music, makes it quite hip n cool. nvr attended such a fun n enjoyable MAF till now. it's indeed one of
the events of the school. :)
