okay.. ladies n gents, i'm officially bored at work
apparently, my work is kinda non-consistent.
when i have a lot to do, it's all in one shot, then when i have nothing to do (like now), it's really that boring. not say that GIC aint fun, but just the nature of the work. besides, gd thing my mentor(s) spared me from all the tedious paper work. :) i kinda rather be bored than do paperwork. not that i cant do, just that i dont like doing lor...
come to think of it, half the holiday is gone liao.. been quite fulfilling so far. got work, got play, got do all my need-to-do things, except school work. that will be the last, where one gets back into the all boring n evil studying fevour that J2s all require. hope nxt year, my juniors wont be as irritating as i've been to my poor seniors and that it would have a good mix of the correct people.
i'm like kinda occupied till the end of the holiday, except for the occasional free morning or afternoon, thanks to the NAC competition, soccer trng, CO prac n etc. been away from CCA for such a long time liao.. think going to get into some problems wif my fitness n etc. when i go back.
okay.. that's all for this rather short entry. TAG is fun (for some), rewarding for those that get paid, tedious n exhausting (esp. admin people) and slack (for me, a bit).

just back from my m'sia holiday trip, having my job attachment now at GIC. shall talk a bit abt my attachment 1st. it's really an eye-opener there. firstly, there's the free flow of tidbits n drinks. :) haha.. drank a bit too much coffee, was wanting to try more flavours on the coffee machine. apparently, my job at the Tech department is quite fun, going around fixing comps and learning about the places we visit. as in u get to see the foreign exchange, the foreign equties sections, see how they do stuff and trade n etc etc. a lot of fun stuff. more importantly, there can learn the coporate ways of doing things, the mentality, the philosophy and all sorts of stuff. it's very gd experience and hands on encounters. bascially things that school wont be teaching.
despite me learning how to fix comps there, i still cant fix the comp at my house... seems that the power box has gone boom and that my brother wants to fix it, so yar.. no choice, have no access or wat so ever to the comp at home. quite sad.. :(
okay.. on my holiday in m'sia. the drive there was made quite bearable, coz my uncle car have dvd/vcd player on board, and watched many a movie on board. 1st night was very good. the lodge was fabulous. up on the cameron highlands, u r just one step closer to the stars, and with the wind blowing nicely, it gets a very wonderful feeling. under the myriad of stars, it gets kinda romantic in a sense. haha.. went a nightmarket there, n shop around, brought some stuff here n there.. just little shopping.. was very relaxed n enjoyable. second day, went around visiting various farms n valleys, nothing out of the ordinary. but the food there was quite nice as well, affordable too. wat i loved best there, was the relaxed pace of life. could take everything slowly, enjoy the wind, the view n the air. was a very gd break from singapore n the urban life. those 2 days up there put back wat i severely lacked during the year : sleep, comfort, enjoyment and a relaxed life. now i'm back in the concrete jungle, i miss the life back there. those 2 days up there more or less revived me, after a tiring n exhausting year in jC. i didnt really realised how tired out i was, till up there.. where i was totally relaxed n resting.
then after that, went to KL. back to urban life. not totally enjoyable, but still can do, coz lazed around mostly. shopped a bit there, n they had this gigantic shopping centre (Times Square), where i developed a headache trying to shop there. it was real tough lor... 10 floors worth of stuff. brought 7 games all for less than the price of one game in sinagpore. also, brought some real fun fireworks, the next chalet, i prob bring it n have fun. muhahaha. but at KL, nothing really much other than that, so close to singapore, in terms of transport, n etc, so nothing spectucular. cameron was the best lor... the wind, the star, the air, the view, the height n the slacking. it was well worth my time for this holiday.
anyway, i think that my absence these few days has a slight impact on my social life.. coz like not been "up to update" with my frens, CCAs n stuff like that. this is made worse with my fused computer.. have to settle my dance stuff as well, some CO comp coming up (ie LOTS of practice required). oh well.. going to bit busy. so till the next time i can find a comp to use.

hrmm.. just finished chalet-ing. screwed my slping hours like mad, especially today, where i had to go for some stupid PW study interview as well as attend soccer trng. it's quite tough doing all this especially so when i felt hung over. ur head is throbbing, u can't concentrate, n u cant pass the ball straight. serious signs of lack of slp.
been taking a lot of cat naps recently. 2-3 hours long sleep. very un-used to it, and quite torturous on me. especially so yesterday, where i slept on the mrt from tampines to jurong, missing my stop (city hall) by a lot! but it was rather rejuvernating... but then had to take taxi to rush to school for the fact. comm picture. 14.40 for 3 photos. quite a hefty price to pay isn't it?
speaking of the fact. comm, i think the dance chereographing is getting on rather slowly but still progressing. i still find it hard to really imagine myself as the dance IC, but wateva... gd thing my partner is rather dependable (due to her dance experiences), but still it's quite tough lar.. the most funny thing is that we were chereographing at the chalet at 11.40pm at night, when suddenly we had inspiration for around 2omins. then after that, it was it... and went back to play.
the chalet was okay lar.. other than that the mosquitoes were many, it was very nice, especially with the fridge, cups n utensils, made it a more comfortable stay. but sadly, not many people willingly to stay over n play n etc. due to all sorts of reasons lor.. but wateva, i kinda be washing my hands of such a further outings.
in fact, wat i liked most there, was this card fortune reading thing, done by my fren. it was so cool lor.. my fren was like explaining it very well and the few of us were like so captivated by it. didnt know she had such a talent, i think she's has many hidden talents, but sadly she seldom mingles with the class during normal times.. but i hope next year would change or wat.. otherwise, another classmate of mine would be complaining that she doesnt have any other girl she can really relate too. anyway, the fortune thing was quite accurate as well.. there was someting abt a queen moving just out of my inner circle, symbolising the exiting of a close female fren, which i felt was very true. then there was also 2 queens in my hand, symbolising 2 ladies that i often think about, not necessarily in those kind of romantic sense, which i thot was rather accurate as well. the only thing funny was the placement of my guy frens/male relatives.. there were kinda at odd places... so maybe it's time to work on it liao lor...
oh yar.. took a nice survey on something abt "love distance", directly translating from chinese. i was like trying to get more people to take it, but some rather took the thing themselves... the thrill was in being questioned, n it was kinda of like taken away.. so yar.. maybe it's just me lar.. haha.. :p

anyway, end of today's entry. going to malaysia for the next 5 days. going to smuggle gum back(?), hope not to get caught.

today, went wif CnB pple. cafe cartel food is gd n huge. gt sticky fingers n fat stomach. went watch dollmaster. quite nice n bit scary. sort of comforted/assured my fren.

anyway, confirmed a few things today thru the outing. it is a wierd feeling. to see a girl that u kinda feel for being wif another guy n having a budding romance. i'm nt like jealous or wat... but i feel funny and now, a bit relieved, coz things r confirmed now. maybe coz it's dead ended or wat? but now, at least, i feel that things r accounted for.. n much better. another learning point today... how to maintain/deal/handle wif such a interesting friendship.

y is my holiday so packed? i see no free day in sight. there's so many places i want to go, so many things i want to do, so many people i want to go out with, yet i cant. this holiday is just like school term w/o lectures or tutorials only. i'm as busy n occupied as always. sigh... i need to rest

anyway, class chalet organising is quite a pain. so many last minute things here n there... and it's so hard to sort it out.. pple changing plans so suddenly n for some lame old reason(s). wateva... i dont care liao.. one year of putting in effort in making the class better n more bonded.

okay.. it's a Long long time since i last updated. and now that i have remember i will update lor. 1stly, my results. as usual i was slacking, and i got AACE for promo if i nt wrong, then overall ABCO. failed one sub, stupid f maths. no moderation wan.. bio dont know gt how much mod lor.. not fair. haha.. anyway, i appealing for phys n econs S papers. according to my class pros, it's turning to the dark side, coz not taking maths. but wateva~ i like econs n phys better than maths lor. hrmpf~ anyway, i think that phys i would probably get it, but econs is a different matter altogether, but i'm just hoping.

hrmm.. actually, forgot wat i wanted to say the last time round liao... so dont care lar.. shall blog a bit abt the adventures of my stupid virus prone comp. i got the "funny virus" for like 2++ wks, making my life very jia lat, especially for PW. had to go to my PRO fren's house to do, print @ school and go to all sorts of funny places to get the PW stuff done. more ever, my ever "helpful and dilligent" group members assisted in making life hellish for me with their late or never submissions of PW stuff. arh well... wateva~ PW will be out of my life in 4 days time. just a bit bit more. anyway, after the stupid virus, used my classmate cd n gt it back. but was immediately invaded by virus again. then re-format the whole nonsense, then finally manage to get it fixed, then recently, with the anti-virus n etc. protection, my comp is finally back to its previous state, save all my list of web sites that i shortlisted, inclusive of all my fren's blog adds. so if u have a blog, kindly notify me of your blog add :)

okie.. no to my bdae celebration. yay! foremost, must thank all my family n frens whom have celebrated and/or help organise it. big thank you to all of you! :D
my presents include a nice wallet (something i sort of indicated), a singlet (i look horrible in singlets), a pencil box (which i yet to recieve), a cross-stitched snail(cute~) and a pack of LOTR cards (very cool!). and a lot of hefty meals outside, and 3 movies in 3 days.

"celebrations" started on tues, with PW, n my da jie gave me the singlet. then wednesday, was like PW day again. holed myself in HC library to complete all the stuff, which is the group's and my own. a lot lot lot lot... then went for my 1st movie that nite wif a fren of mine, movie "cellular", plus a pastamania meal. enjoyed myself there :). then thursday, went out wif another fren of mine, chat quite a bit, movie number 2 as well, plus marche dinner. used my 20 bucks voucher, had a very gd dinner. 1st time i ate the crepe there and marche ice cream is very gd n of high quality! just that a bit expensive only, but once in awhile anway. also enjoyed myself as well :) then the day itself! went wif my classmates to eat breeks, where the attendance was SURPRISINGLY fantastic, there was even more girls that guys lor~ though some of my classmates had motives which include using the poor bdae boy to go giodarno to get 20% discount, but still it's surprisingly good attendance. then went to the 3rd movie, Shark Tale. then had a Jack's place dinner, which was very expensive! but the steak was so nice!! rarely to get eat such gd stuff lor... so gorged myself on my bdae. once in a while, the soccer trngs will burn off all the calories anyway.

my future holiday plans includes the following, muggin for PWOP till 8th. 8th - 10th nov, class chalet (YAY!). 11th-15th, m'sia trip (yay!). 16th -26th nov, TAG @ GIC. if only i could have gone the taiwan trip, then it would be 27th nov - 17th dec, taiwan trip. but sadly, so sian.... taiwan is like one of the top places i want to go. others include, europe tour, maldives, turkey and peru. hope my future income and lifestyle can support my wants. :p
