I'm back~
back from my "holiday" in Genting n KL.
Genting was rather expensive. "tourisation". except the movies. :D
i watched 2 fabulous movies there. World w/o thieves and Phantom of the Opera. Was really very enjoyable and delightful to watch those 2 movies. Provided moral provoking food for thot as well as visual n audio experience (esp. Phantom). Probably going to watch Phantom again soon, during the christmas period, though it would be freakingly expensive but it's worth the price. :)
other than that, Genting was boring, urbanised n "tourised". think i wont venture there unnecessarily again. one extremely irritating thing there is the prices are all ++. meaning they throw in a 5% govt tax after the price indicated on the menu which makes things become real expensive and irritating. more expensive than singapore some more.. argh.. wasn't the best of trips.KL being KL is just urbanised. Nothing much, just some shopping here n there. Forgot the disadvantages n benefits of a planned tour, for been on those self-organised trips for the few years. Quite cool to no need worry abt events n things, but cannot do anything u like on the bus, w/o being disturbed. e.g. sleep. gd thing, i organised my slping hours to make use of all the travelling time to be my sleeping time, so didnt had to put up wif too much boring transportation time. One interesting fact about KL teksi (taxi) is that the price is set right at the start of the trip n is baraginable. this is better, so the driver wont take adv of u by driving about this long n winding route to the destination so that can clock the meter more to hammer more out of u, instead they will be forced to take the fastest n most effective route which the driver did take. he practically zoomed about KL's busiest street with minimal ease, by taking all kinds of shortcuts, thru hotel driveways etc. quite an exciting experience. :p
oh yar.. b4 going on my holiday, went to CO chalet. was quite okay. had night cycling fun, went around tampines, changi airport, beach etc. was quite enjoyable n exciting, especially this stretch of road by the airport runway where there was no pavement n portholes along the sides of the road. quite fierce, coz passing trucks would just zoom past u inches away and horn at u. but still made it thru safely. :D
bbq was quite average. gt food n drinks. gd thing gt some soccer to go along wif it. that was rather crucial in making the bbq acceptable. actually out of things to say about the bbq liao... rather average. just had a gd time hanging out wif my CO mates.
anyway, holiday ending soon. have to start getting my work back on track. totally neglected all my work. shall start with arrangement n planning of my work, then to start on it. think shall spare christmas n its eve from work, kinda no mood to work on those 2 days.. haha.. got much to buck up on. kills me to think of it, the mountains of work, the mugging to do, the fact. dance to practice. haiz.. shall worry abt it next time.
