Been to vivo twice in as many days. Went there to visit my cousin, Marc, and his architecture exhibition. rather impressive, some of the artworks and models are rather intricate. though not many pple really actually paid too much of a close look. more like a "wow, not bad", "quite nice", then go liao. something that i'm guilty of as well, lol.
second day, met up WJ @ white dog cafe. i must say, the cafe really has a damm good view. moreover, the food is really affordable (at lunch only). not to mention it tasted rather nice as well. had a really good chat with her throughout the afternoon. thnx very much, WJ :)
time for some random tidbits of life.
last friday, i was at sim lim square to do something about my mp3 player for the 5th time in 6 months! LeMon's the brand and it's really of inferior quality. taking into account the amt of time and effort spent, it's really frustrating. did wish i spent more and brought a more reliable player. for electronics, quality really demands a price.
anyway, the gist of the story is not about the player. it is about the freaking USB cable that connects the player to the comp. apparently, the USB head on the player is of a smaller size that normal, so i had to go source for it in SM square (LeMon's price was a rip-off).
finding it at a nearby store, the shop assistant said it cost 6. having 4.85 in my wallet, i failed to de-rail the shop-owner from the pricing. after a hell of time and effort to find an ATM, i went back to the store. and the shop owner told me it costs 7 now.
that's very screwed up. i wanted to jump on the owner, but good thing the shop assistant was around, and i forced back the original pricing. damm it. 1 extra dollar also wanna con out of me, what an obvious and digusting lack of business principle.
last NDP rehearsal (Yes, i'm arrowed for shit work for NDP), i met an old sec. school friend of mine, christopher. caught up with him abit and it felt good that could instantly connect at a level similiar to where we left off. he was in the marching contingent and was sweating profusely, with the sun giving no face. seeing his tired state, i commented off-handly on his bad luck of getting chosen for the shit work. chris concurred with great lack of enthusiasm. Immediately, i heard a foreign voice recoiled in deep shock that the parade was viewed as shitty. Succinctly commenting on my view of the parade was christopher's officer and he made it quite sure that i understood his point. i decided that it ain't worth it to try anything, but deep down i was "lauding" his commitment yet it was quite laughable to see that he can't connect and understand with his subordinates. this was later confirmed by chris on his isolation, after he left.
Army does really produced many "interesting" personalities and views of life.

Alright, i've changed my layout. Feeling quite pleased with it, after doing a fair bit of editing. Somehow the credits and acknowledgements kinda make it less appealing, not that i don't wanna credit the creator of the codes or what.
Included the new little cutesy widget @ my profile there. Quite an interesting piece of html coding there, and a brilliant method of divulging oneself. Shall update in a bit.
My bro and his friends are currently intending to start a LAN shop with CnC3 being the game in vogue.
