was at the airport to send off my mum (for her china holiday with her sisters).
saw some rarely seen cousins. those see-only-during-CNY kind. (CNY = chinese new year)
it is quite pleasant to chit-chat and all, especially since it's not CNY when the WHOLE family is there, there's more opportunity. but the astounding fact was that there's suddenly a lot of nephews and nieces. and they all of roughly the same age, like eh, 8-12?
they all had a fun time ganging on me. imagine getting surrounded by 8 kids, grabbing n pulling u hands here and there, demanding to get lifted up to your shoulder for a joy ride and being pushed around on the luggage trolley. worse still, a few of the boys decided that i look too much like a punching bag.
well, i did had a fun time with them, playing, running around a bit and stuff like that. it really helps to laugh, to be jovial, especially after an emotional and self-reflective week. though, i'm not in a hurry to be mobbed by them anytime soon :p
on another note, it seems that some have quite the contrasting personality in real-life (RL) and on-line (OL). in RL, they are approachable and friendly and etc, yet quite the assholes/bitches OL. amazingly, there's also the opposite case of being odd OL, and being real nice RL.
it really baffles me to why it's occuring.
maybe it's just me and i have also such a split personality in OL & RL?
or they could be masking the hidden angst in RL, then only releasing in OL or wat?
